More than 170 Advisors, Staff and Sponsors Gathered for Event Focused on Process Enhancement, Client Engagement and Experience, and Philanthropy
DALLAS, Oct. 17, 2024 — Dallas-based independent broker-dealer, Prospera Financial Services, Inc., brought together more than 170 advisors, staff and sponsors at CONNECT, an annual event to drive client engagement, operational enhancement and showcase philanthropy. The event held Oct. 9 to 11 at the Renaissance Legacy West in Plano, Texas, reinforced the firm’s legacy of providing comprehensive support for financial professionals across the country.
CONNECT featured keynote speakers and breakout sessions on topics including client engagement and experience, portfolio management, complex strategies, estate planning and marketing strategies. This year, advisors were invited to share their perspectives at round-table discussions to exchange best practices and innovative ideas, and to foster collaboration and share growth strategies.

The event featured two keynote presentations:
- Chris Jeppesen, Chief of Advisor Consulting for First Trust, on actionable strategies to enhance operational excellence and client engagement.
- Former Disney executive Dennis Snow on creating a service-driven culture and building customer loyalty in a presentation titled “Delivering a World-Class Experience: Lessons from the Mouse.”
CONNECT also spotlighted Prospera’s commitment to the communities in which it operates. Participants worked with Dallas CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) to assemble care packages of personal essential items for the organization’s clients. In addition, Prospera’s advisors and home office team raised more than $17,000 to support the non-profit.
The conference also recognized individuals for their exceptional contributions to Prospera.
- Ari Baum of Endurance Wealth Partners in New York was awarded the Abel Garcia Quality Award for his practice’s high standards and commitment to process improvement.
- Anita Richards, Senior Launch Manager at Prospera, was honored with the President’s Advisory Council (PAC) Excellence Award for her embodiment of the firm’s core values of care, character, competency and innovation – consistently delivering gold-standard service in all aspects of her role.
Williams concluded, “CONNECT allows our teams to come together, learn from one another in person and celebrate our mutual success.”
